Snowfall : MUSIC
“WHEN SNOW FALLS, NATURE LISTENS”
My latest composition; "Snowfall" and the first piece I have written especially for A Y A N E . It was inspired by gently falling snowflakes and the beautiful quiet that envelopes the world as they transform the landscape.
I find the silence that accompanies falling snow absolutely magical, it is as though the world stops to admire this beautiful natural phenomenon.
This was one part of the inspiration behind this piece, the other was to tell the story of the following imagined scene;
Late one evening as the snow begins to gently fall, a young couple out walking through an ancient woodland become entranced by the beautiful quiet that envelopes the world as the snowflakes transform the landscape into a magical winter wonderland…
Graham helped by co-writing parts of this piece with me, which made it a really enjoyable piece to write.
