THE MUSIC
The main theme for ‘The Dew Fairy’ is joyful and has an ethereal quality to it, to depict the magic of the glistening world she creates each morning. It was inspired by works such as Saint-Saëns’ ‘Aquarium’ and Tchaikovsky’s score for the ballet ‘The Nutcracker’.

THE BALLET
‘The Dew Fairy’ is a single dance ballet solo for prima ballerina. Like the music, the choreography and illustrations were inspired by several works from classical and romantic ballet repertoire. In particular ‘The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ from the Nutcracker.
